How we curate. Featured properties (★) are places we've actually stayed at, where we know the owner by name and have a direct relationship — usually with a reader rate. Non-featured listings are pulled from Booking.com inventory along the same corridor; we don't endorse them, but we don't pretend they don't exist either.

Frequently asked

Do you charge a booking fee?

No. We never take payment for stays. You either book direct on the property's own site, or via Booking.com — and either way, you pay the same as you would going direct. We get a small affiliate commission on Booking-routed bookings, and a slightly larger one on direct partner bookings. Neither comes out of your wallet.

Why book direct instead of Booking?

For featured properties (★) we've negotiated reader rates that are usually 5–10% better than Booking, plus the property keeps more of the margin and is more likely to give you the room you actually wanted. Booking is faster and easier; direct is friendlier and slightly cheaper.

Will you add my hotel?

Possibly. We're slowly building out featured curation — currently 15 properties along the Kaş–Olympos corridor, growing to ~50 by end of season. If you're a small, owner-operated property along the Lycian coast, write to hello@explorelycia.com with photos and a few sentences on what makes the place itself.
