The route
Dalaman Airport (DLM) sits inland from the Mediterranean. The standard route to Patara:
- Exit airport on the access road (5 min) connecting to the D550.
- D550 south-east through Sarıgerme + Göcek for 20–25 min.
- Junction onto the D400 coastal road, east through Fethiye (15 min through-traffic).
- D400 through the Esen valley to the Patara junction signed for “Patara” / “Patara Beach” (40 min).
- Turn off D400 onto the village road, descending 5 km past Kınık village to Patara’s narrow lanes (10 min).
Total ~2 hours door-to-door. Add 20–30 min for July–August Saturday peak.
